Potential Canada Post Service Disruption

6 July, 2016

UPDATE Aug 26, 2016 by Canada Post

Posted on Aug. 26, 2016 by Canada Post in Customer Updates

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has provided Canada Post with 72-hour strike notices. This means the union will be in a legal position to commence strike action on August 28, 2016; however, this action by the union does not necessarily mean a full-scale strike will occur. Canada Post can no longer guarantee a fully operational network; therefore, we are temporarily suspending the fee for the Specified Delivery Start Date option for Neighbourhood Mail.

In the event of a Canada Post service disruption, delivery of cheque payments sent to iTristan Media Group may be impacted. Please note that you are still responsible for keeping your account up-to-date, iTristan Media Group cannot extend or change account due dates, we are pleased to offer a number of alternative ways to manage and pay your account.

A number of services are available to help manage your account, and help us keep things flowing for you during a postal service disruption.

Viewing and Paying invoices

Of course this has always been a paper free process with iTMG, but it's always good to remember your options to review account invoices and balances :

  1. login to your account at https://orders.itristanmedia.com/clientarea.php
    1. there is an easy and quick password reminder link if you cannot remember or find your account login information
  2. you will be taken directly to your Dashboard where you can see any outstanding invoices and their status
  3. click the invoice number or plus sign at the right to bring up the invoice details
  4. from the invoice at the top right you can select Credit Card USD or CAD; or select PayPal and click Pay Now
    1. NOTE : if you haven't used PayPal for payments, you can link it to your bank account to pay directly from there
  5. you will be taken through a secure payment process from there

Other Alternatives

  1. bank wire (wire directions are shown on the invoice page if you select cheque/direct)
  2. email interac : send to billing@itristanmedia.com
